Languages, Communication and Multiliteracy

The section Languages, Communication and Multiliteracy focuses on educational programmes designed to be implemented in schools in collaboration with educational partners. These programmes aim to cultivate fundamental skills in pupils in the areas of reading and writing, communication and openness towards other cultures.

Become partner

As a partner, you offer activities that promote critical reading, text interpretation and access to a diverse range of cultural reference points, whilst at the same time fostering a love of reading. Your programmes promote multilingualism and support respectful and enriching intercultural exchange.

Your programme fosters pupils’ critical thinking, particularly through the analysis of media content and the expression of well-founded opinions. You offer multimodal projects that enable pupils to communicate creatively and appropriately for the situation by using a variety of media.

If your project meets these criteria, we invite you to submit your proposal with immediate effect and to play an active part in this educational initiative.

You are primary school librarian?

A network connecting primary school librarians has been set up via the ‘Espace d’échange – Grondschoulbibliothéiken’ within IFEN’s Learning Sphere. There, they can share their experiences and discuss a wide range of topics relating to school libraries.
