One of the key aims of primary school is to prepare pupils for working life and for life in general. Gaining a practical insight into different careers helps them make more informed choices when selecting a school path, and may even spark a genuine passion for a particular profession. Opening the doors to the working world adds a greater sense of authenticity to traditional lessons and enables pupils to develop skills that classroom exercises alone could never truly impart.
