We are committed to gender equality, a feminist society, and the education and development of gender-related knowledge. The CID includes a public library and realises cultural, socio-political and educational projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CID-Y: The Feminist Library for Children and Teens in Luxembourg<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The library for children and teens is an open and inspiring space where all children and teens, as well as parents and professionals, have access to a wide variety of resources and educational and cultural activities, regardless of their gender, background, or social status.<\/p>\n<p>OPENING HOURS<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday:<br \/>\n12:00 PM \u2013 6:00 PM<br \/>\nThursday:<br \/>\n12:00 PM \u2013 7:30 PM<br \/>\nSaturday:<br \/>\n9:00 AM \u2013 2:00 PM &amp; appointments for research outside of opening hours<\/p>\n<p>The CID library is closed in August and during the Christmas holidays.<\/p>\n<p>CID | Women\u2019s and Gender Education: Shaping Gender Relations.<\/p>\n<p>Gender education is an essential tool for achieving equality among all genders.<\/p>\n<p>To this end, we offer books and educational materials, organize events and workshops, and support various educational projects. In collaboration with the City of Luxembourg, we offer workshops on gender education in the capital\u2019s elementary schools.
