Music, Dance & Theatre in Primary School
Applaus is an initiative by SCRIPT to promote the performing arts in primary school.
Through the website applaus.lu, teachers can find not only a large database of educational materials in the fields of music, dance and theatre, but the Applaus team also runs a variety of workshops in schools and offers training.
The Applaus project was created in 2025 from the merger of the initiatives mimamu (we make music) and makedra (make no drama), which had been well-known in Luxembourgish primary schools for many years. As a joint initiative, Applaus therefore offers holistic and cross-curricular activities, projects, competitions and workshops in the field of the performing arts, and is naturally also represented at various events with a workshop.
